The Warren County Conservation District has trained staff on hand who can help you understand nutrient management regulations and how they apply to your operation.  We can also help you get voluntary Act 38 Nutrient Management Plans approved by our Board.

Understanding the nutrient cycle on your farm and its effects on the soil and plants produced can help you to reduce your usage and input costs of nitrogen based fertilizers.  Paying attention to nutrient excesses can also help to reduce nonpoint source pollution from your farm and protect our watersheds.

If you have any further questions regarding nutrient management, please call the Warren County Conservation District at 814 726-1441 or e-mail hwilcox@wcconservation.net.
